Amaravati, January 03, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched the statewide distribution of updated pattadar passbooks bearing Andhra Pradesh's state emblem, calling it a New Year gift to farmers.

The move replaces older versions marred by inaccuracies from the previous re-survey and removes political images, restoring trust in land records.

The initiative targets villages where re-surveys are complete, aiming to end disputes and provide clear ownership proof.

New passbooks include QR codes for instant verification via Webland data, making mutations, registrations, and inheritance smoother. Ministers, MLAs, and district officials lead village-level handovers, with the program running from January 2 to 9.
