Amaravati, January 02, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, overseeing Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Forests, and Environment, described 2025 as a pivotal period of accelerated progress and redefined governance in Andhra Pradesh.
Key drives included the completion of Palle Panduga 1.0, building over 4,000 km of village roads and thousands of farm ponds, followed by the November launch of Palle Panduga 2.0 with ₹6,787 crore funding for more than 53,000 projects across all gram panchayats.
In tribal regions, the Adavi Thalli Bata program invested ₹1,005 crore to link 625 isolated habitations with all-weather roads, ending reliance on traditional doli transport for emergencies.
Water access advanced through the Amarajeevi Jaladhara grid, a ₹7,910 crore initiative in five districts set to serve 1.21 crore people long-term.
