Amaravati, January 02, 2026: Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district will roll out the ‘Mee Intiki Mee Doctor’ initiative in early February, bringing primary healthcare straight to homes in remote tribal regions.

Funded by the Rural Electrification Corporation Foundation and run by the Indian Red Cross Society’s state branch, the three-year project uses mobile clinics to deliver consultations, vaccinations, and disease control services.

It aims to cut maternal and infant deaths, curb communicable diseases, and hit full immunization rates in hard-to-reach areas.

ASR District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar announced recruitment for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and drivers to keep services running smoothly in interior zones.
