Visakhapatnam International Airport recorded 81.52% on-time performance (OTP) for departures and arrivals between January and November 2025, according to Airports Authority of India data.
OTP measures flights operating within defined punctuality windows, with total delays at 18.46%. The airport handled 19,136 domestic flights and 654 international ones during the period, with over 3,470 domestic and 184 international flights delayed by more than 30 minutes.
IndiGo led domestic operations with 13,550 flights and an 83.98% OTP, while smaller carriers like IndiaOne Air reached 90.86%. International routes showed mixed results, with some operators below the airport average.
