Newsroom, December 29, 2025: Experts at a career guidance seminar stressed that soft skills are essential for students aiming to succeed beyond technical knowledge. Organised by The Hindu FIC with SRM Andhra Pradesh and KITS-Guntur, the event focused on postgraduate paths in management, technology, and sciences.
Speakers, including a professor from Paari School of Business, listed five core skill communication, problem solving, analytical thinking, marketing, and negotiation as must-haves for career growth.
They noted these are introduced in undergraduate studies but truly sharpened through advanced education and real-world application. Other panelists encouraged critical thinking and innovative approaches to explore opportunities outside traditional IT roles.
