Amaravati, December 29, 2025: Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy sharply criticised the current TDP-led NDA government for showing step-motherly treatment to Pulivendula constituency in YSR Kadapa district.
Speaking at a press conference in Kadapa, he targeted former MLC Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy (known as B.Tech Ravi) for allegedly exploiting the area over the past 18 months rather than fostering growth.
The MP highlighted stalled progress on key projects initiated under the previous YSRCP regime. He noted that around 8,000 houses built earlier remain unmaintained since the government change.
He also pointed to the ₹480-crore Pulivendula water grid project, designed to deliver drinking water to every household in the town. Over 60% of the work was finished before, but no further advancement has occurred, he claimed.
