Amaravati, December 26 2025: A tragic road mishap claimed the life of a teenage student Thursday afternoon at the check-post centre in Vinukonda town, Palnadu district. The boy, Gunjari Srihari (14) from Marella village in Prakasam district, had arrived by train from Tenali with his brother, uncle, and aunt. They hired a two-wheeler to reach their village.

A speeding luggage auto coming from behind suddenly lost control, slamming into the family’s two-wheeler and several parked motorcycles plus a roadside tiffin cart. Srihari died on the spot from the impact

. His brother Srikanth suffered a serious leg injury, while uncle D Ankamma Rao, aunt Renuka, and others were hurt. All injured were rushed to Government Hospital in Vinukonda for treatment.
