Amaravati, December 26, 2025: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana inaugurated raft foundation works for the Andhra Pradesh High Court building in Amaravati on December 25, following a traditional puja ceremony.

The project marks a key step in reviving the capital's development as one of seven planned iconic structures.

The B+G+7 building will span 21 lakh square feet and house 52 court halls, with courts on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th floors and the Chief Justice’s court on the 8th. It will use around 45,000 tonnes of steel and follows a global-standard design to strengthen judicial infrastructure.
