Amaravati, December 26 2025: The Andhra Pradesh government transferred Bhimavaram Deputy Superintendent of Police RG Jayasurya to the Director General of Police office after Janasena Party (JSP) workers and leaders in West Godavari district raised serious allegations against him.

Local JSP representatives had submitted written complaints to Deputy Chief Minister and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan months ago, accusing the officer of colluding with illegal gambling operations and interfering in civil disputes.

Pawan Kalyan escalated the matter by directing West Godavari SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi to conduct an inquiry and submit a report to the Home Department and DGP. The probe led to the transfer orders, with Raghuveer Vishnu appointed as the replacement DSP.
