Amravati, December 26 2025: The seventh edition of Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan kicked off today at National Sanskrit University in Tirupati. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Union Minister Jitendra Singh led the inaugural ceremony for the four-day event running until December 29.
Organized by Vijnana Bharati with support from the Union Ministry of Education, APCOST, National Innovation Foundation, and the host university, the sammelan draws around 900 delegates.
It focuses on sustainable development through a Bharatiya lens, linking traditional knowledge in areas like agriculture, health, biodiversity, and technology to contemporary challenges. A science and technology exhibition highlights grassroots innovations, handicrafts, and modern advancements rooted in Indian heritage.
