Velairupadu police in Eluru district organised a large-scale free medical camp at Ramavaram village on December 24 as part of community policing efforts.
Specialist doctors from seven fields of general medicine, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT, pulmonology, paediatrics, and ophthalmology examined patients and distributed free medicines to those in need.
Hundreds from Ramavaram and nearby villages, including many from the Gotti Koya tribal community, benefited from the services brought directly to their remote location.
