Amaravati, December 24, 2025: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu outlined a bold tech roadmap for Andhra Pradesh during a recent “Quantum Talk by CM CBN” event, attended by students, academics, and industry leaders, including experts from IITs and the Department of Science and Technology.

He declared that Visakhapatnam is rapidly rising as a global data centre hub, driven by strong subsea cable links and digital infrastructure. Google plans to build its largest data centre there, bolstering the city’s role in the global data ecosystem and tying into industrial corridors connecting Vizag–Chennai, Chennai–Bengaluru, and beyond.

Meanwhile, Amaravati will anchor the state’s knowledge economy as India’s dedicated Quantum Valley. The state aims to start producing quantum computers within two years, launch a massive skilling programme (already drawing over 50,000 registrations, with strong women participation), and build a 20-year Quantum and Green Hydrogen Valley roadmap.
