Amaravati, December 24, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan visited Ippatam village in Mangalagiri constituency, Guntur district, to personally support Indla Nageswaramma, an elderly resident, and her family.
He handed over ₹50,000 for household expenses, pledged ₹5,000 monthly from his salary for her upkeep, gifted a sari for the upcoming festival, committed ₹1 lakh toward the education of her differently-abled grandson Manoj Sai, and arranged ₹3 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for her son’s cancer treatment.
The gesture honors an earlier assurance tied to Nageswaramma’s stand against house demolitions during the prior regime, after villagers supported a Jana Sena event in 2022. Locals welcomed him warmly; he also addressed grievances from daily wage workers and directed officials to resolve pension and infrastructure issues.
