Amaravati, December 24, 2025: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed paddy procurement and agricultural marketing at the State Secretariat in Vijayawada on December 23. He directed the agriculture and horticulture departments to prepare a comprehensive crop calendar covering Rabi-Kharif-Rabi seasons. The calendar will guide farmers on suitable, profitable crops per season, improve produce quality, and provide harvesting support.

Naidu stressed stronger cold chains, better processing, and efficient transport to domestic and global markets via rail and logistics. He addressed immediate issues like uniform bank guarantees statewide to ease farmer access and warned against irregularities in procurement. For mango growers, he highlighted ₹184 crore in subsidies plus a unique ₹4 per kg incentive, vowing strict action against unfair practices by processing units.
