Vijayawada, December 24, 2025: The Hindu Joint Action Committee (JAC) held a protest at Adi Shankaracharya Circle on BRTS Road, strongly condemning the recent mob killing of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das by religious extremists in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Activists burned an effigy symbolising extremism and raised slogans against fanaticism and violence targeting Hindus.

Speakers, including JAC leaders Nagalingam, Shivaji, Avutupalli, Shivaprasad, Thota Suresh, Potharaju, and JSRK Prasad, highlighted ongoing concerns for the safety of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. They pressed the Bangladesh government to act decisively for minority protection, punish those responsible for Das's murder, and address rising attacks amid the country's political shifts.
