Vijayawada, December 24, 2025: Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy stated that the state is prioritising welfare measures designed to deliver both immediate support and long-term economic independence through jobs.

Speaking at a meet-the-press event in Vijayawada, he emphasised a planned skill census to identify training gaps among youth, aligning programs with upcoming industrial growth.

The government has secured investments of ₹8.29 lakh crore, with additional commitments of ₹13.5 lakh crore from a recent Visakhapatnam summit expected to generate around 20 lakh jobs by 2027-28.
