Amaravati, December 24: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched the official 2026 wall calendar, table calendar, and diary of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature at his Camp Office.
Titled “Biodiversity the Living Heritage of Andhra Pradesh,” the calendar showcases 12 majestic wild animals from varied ecosystems, Eastern Ghats, grasslands, Coringa mangroves, and the Bay of Bengal coast, illustrated in traditional Kalamkari style blended with AI innovation.
The release, attended by Assembly Speaker Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav, and Legislature Secretary General Prasanna Kumar Suryadevara, forms part of the “Heritage of Andhra Pradesh” series.
Naidu stressed harmonious coexistence to curb rising man-animal conflicts driven by ecological imbalance and climate change effects. He highlighted the Legislature’s dedicated Committee on Wildlife and Environment Protection, chaired by the Speaker, as proof of strong institutional commitment.
