Amaravati, December 23, 2025: The 24-hour countdown started today for India's LVM3-M6 mission, launching the BlueBird Block-2 communication satellite from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

This dedicated commercial flight, handled by NewSpace India Limited, will carry the 6,100 kg payload, the heaviest ever for LVM3 into low Earth orbit—built by US firm AST SpaceMobile.

The massive satellite features a 223-square-meter array to beam 4G/5G signals straight to unmodified smartphones, bridging connectivity gaps worldwide. Liftoff is scheduled for 8:54 a.m. tomorrow from the second launch pad.
