Newsroom, December 23, 2025: India's aviation regulator has confirmed permission for IndiGo to fly five Boeing 737 narrow-body aircraft wet-leased from Turkey's Corendon Airlines until March 31, 2026. This marks the last approval, with no further renewals planned. The move helps IndiGo tackle aircraft groundings from engine issues and delivery delays.

IndiGo runs 15 foreign wet-leased planes overall, including these five. The temporary boost supports busy domestic routes. I
