Newsroom, December 23, 2025: Delhi now hosts India's only African cultural centre, dedicated to Ethiopia. Located in Chanakyapuri, the space serves as a café, museum, and community hub.
Visitors experience traditional coffee ceremonies with freshly roasted Arabica beans and dishes like injera-based platters with lentil stews and spiced meats. Interiors draw from Ethiopian homes, featuring bamboo, wood, and motifs from the ancient Lalibela site. Artefacts include baskets, instruments, and leather wall art made by local artisans.
