Newsroom, December 23, 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India raised daily match fees for domestic women cricketers sharply. Senior players now earn Rs 50,000 for one-day and multi-day games, up from Rs 20,000, and Rs 25,000 for T20S.
Reserves get Rs 25,000 and Rs 12,500 respectively. Age-group talents receive Rs 25,000 for longer formats and Rs 12,500 for T20S. This move, cleared soon after the November final win over South Africa, eases financial pressures and draws more girls to the sport. A full-season top performer can now pocket Rs 12-14 lakh.
As the Women's Premier League expands and global tours loom, higher pay promises deeper talent pools and sustained growth for Indian women's cricket.
