Amaravati, December 09, 2025: Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar confirmed that wheat, ragi, and atta will reach all ration card holders statewide starting January.

This follows Central nods for boosted allocations, building on ragi's rollout in north coastal districts since August with 16,000 metric tonnes. Manohar highlighted smooth paddy buys 17.37 lakh tonnes from 2.69 lakh farmers toward a 51 lakh tonne goal paying out in 24 hours to cut middlemen.

From next month, PDS rice bags get QR tracking, like the Mid-Day Meal system's success.
