Amaravati, December 07, 2025: Virat Kohli offered prayers at the Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Simhachalam, Visakhapatnam, a day after India's ODI series victory over South Africa at the same city's ACA-VDCA ground.

Joined by all-rounder Washington Sundar, fielding coach T. Dilip, and Andhra Cricket Association officials, Kohli embraced the sacred Kappa Sthamba pillar and took darshan of the deity.

Temple staff led Vedic chants, Nadaswaram recitals, and Veda Ashirvachanam blessings. Officials S. Radha and K. Tirumaleswara Rao presented him with deity portraits, Sesha Vastram, and prasadam. Gautam Gambhir had visited the site a day earlier.
