Newsroom, December 08, 2025: U.S. President Donald Trump expressed disappointment that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not yet reviewed a U.S.-drafted peace proposal to halt the Russia-Ukraine war.

Speaking on December 7, Trump noted Zelenskyy's teamfavourss the plan, which Russia largely accepts, but key hurdles remain on Donbas territories and the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Zelenskyy, after a substantive call with Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, affirmed Kyiv's resolve to negotiate in good faith. Three days of Florida talks wrapped on December 6 without a signature, amid ongoing Russian strikes killing civilians.
