Newsroom, December 07, 2025: The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation eyes April 2026 to start work on a new mosque in Dhannipur village, 25 km from Ayodhya. This follows the Supreme Court's 2019 verdict allotting five acres after the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition.

A revised traditional layout awaits Ayodhya Development Authority nod by December's end, after locals rejected an earlier modern plan. The complex will house a 500-bed hospital, community kitchen, and schools, but only four acres are usable now, possibly splitting phases across sites.

Funding lags at Rs 3 crore against a Rs 65 crore need, with door-to-door drives falling short. Officials push for FCRA clearance to tap overseas donors, aiming for Rs 10-15 crore to launch.
