Amaravati, December 06, 2025: IndiGo Airlines announced a massive operational pause, cancelling more than 1,000 flights over the next few days to overhaul its booking systems and fleet readiness.

The move aims to fix persistent delays and tech glitches that plagued passengers nationwide. Indian Railways responded swiftly by attaching extra coaches to high-demand trains, including those linking Vizag and Vijayawada to Delhi and Mumbai. This comes as holiday travel peaks, with Andhra families facing last-minute scrambles for alternatives.
