Amaravati, December 06, 2025: ReNew Photovoltaics unveiled plans for India's pioneering 6 GW integrated solar ingot and wafer facility in Rambilli, Anakapalli district.

This greenfield project, backed by a Rs 3,990 crore investment, cleared the State Investment Promotion Board hurdle under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Construction kicks off by March 2026, targeting full output in January 2028. It demands 95 MW of steady power and 10 million litres of water daily, while creating 1,200 skilled jobs.

Tied to the national Production Linked Incentive scheme, the plant counters heavy imports from abroad, fueling India's 300 GW solar goal by 2030.
