Amaravati, December 06, 2025: Andhra Pradesh's Agriculture Department rolled out a value-addition push under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's directive at the Rythanna Meekosam workshop in Nallajerla. The effort spans agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and sericulture, focusing on Gross Value Addition (GVA) to lift farmer earnings.

Rythu Seva Kendra (RSK) teams get hands-on training to spot local opportunities, steer toward demand-driven crops, and link to global markets. Officials like Director Manazir Jeelani Samoon stressed mindset shifts: RSK staff must guide proactive practices for value-added output. Annual plans at each RSK will track progress via dashboards, ensuring real targets and quick fixes.
