Amaravati, December 03, 2025: The historic Panchamukha Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple in Kothuru village, Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district, is gearing up for the grand Mahavishnu Yagam, a 10-day Vedic extravaganza set to commence on December 27, inviting thousands to partake in rituals that blend ancient devotion with contemporary fervour.

The temple, a 300-year-old bastion of faith dedicated to the five-faced Hanuman, has long served as a spiritual anchor for local communities, and this yagam featuring daily homams, recitations, and offerings promises to amplify its legacy as a beacon of tranquillity amid the Godavari basin's bustling life.

The event, organised by the temple trust under head priest Sri Venkateswara Sarma, will unfold over 10 days, culminating in a grand abhisekam on January 5, 2026, with elaborate arrangements for prasadam distribution and cultural performances showcasing Telugu traditions.

Devotees from across Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states are expected to converge, drawn by the yagam's promise of blessings for prosperity and protection. Temple authorities have called for community involvement, urging participation in the sacred fire rituals that symbolise purification and divine grace.
