Amaravati, December 02, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu disclosed that the state has disbursed a staggering Rs 50,763 crore in pensions over the past 18 months, underscoring the NDA government's commitment to the vulnerable amid fiscal constraints inherited from the previous regime.

Addressing TDP leaders and workers via video conference on Sunday, Naidu highlighted the scale of the effort, noting that the monthly payouts ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000 based on categories have reached crores of beneficiaries, with elderly receiving Rs 48,000 annually, dialysis patients Rs 1.20 lakh, and bedridden individuals Rs 1.80 lakh.

"This is the largest Direct Benefit Transfer in the country, ensuring dignity for the poor," Naidu said, crediting the scheme's universality for transcending party lines and building trust.

The revelation came during a strategy session where Naidu mobilised the party's grassroots network 12 lakh family empowerment coordinators, 46,000 booth committees, and 8,000 units to amplify the welfare narrative ahead of December events like Rythu Seva Kendra workshops and mega parent-teacher meetings.

He contrasted the NDA's transparency with past halts to schemes like Neeru-Chettu and NREGS bills, driven by "vendetta," and diverted housing funds. Naidu assured dedicated workers of nominated posts, framing the outreach as a "political necessity" to counter opposition whispers.
