Amaravati, November 30, 2025: The CBI-led Special Investigation Team probing the adulterated ghee scam at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has expanded its net, naming 12 additional officials and experts as accused in a memo filed before the Nellore ACB Court, pushing the tally past 35 and exposing a tangled web of procurement lapses that tainted the sacred Srivari Laddu prasadam.

The fresh charges target retired TTD General Manager (Procurement) Pralayakaveri Murali Krishna (A-30) ironically the original complainant for allegedly colluding with dairy suppliers to greenlight substandard ghee, alongside Deputy Executive Officer (Warehouse) PV Natesh Babu (A-27), former GMs P Jagadeeswara Reddy (A-28) and RSSVR Subrahmanyam (A-29), and former SV Goshala Director Dr K Harinath Reddy (A-31).

External dairy specialists from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana were also booked for rubber-stamping reports without site inspections, allowing firms like Bhole Baba Organic Dairy to snag tenders despite ineligibility.
