Amaravati, November 30, 2025: The Godavari Balotsav kicked off with a burst of colours and imagination in Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari district, as 5,000 schoolchildren from 200 institutions across the state converged for a three-day extravaganza of arts, crafts, and cultural performances.

Organised by the District School Education Department under the theme "Balotsav 2025: A Kaleidoscope of Childhood," the event at the TRR College of Engineering grounds featured over 100 stalls where young artists displayed paintings, sculptures, and handmade toys, transforming the venue into a living gallery of unbridled creativity.

District Collector V. Vinod Kumar inaugurated the festival, praising it as a platform for nurturing talent in rural pockets, where 60% of participants hailed from government schools.
