Amaravati, November 30, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the creation of specialised development zones in three key regions: coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema, and Uttarandhra, to drive targeted economic expansion and create millions of jobs, aligning with the state's Swarna Andhra 2047 vision.
Speaking at a high-level review, Naidu outlined coastal Andhra as a hub for ports, fisheries, and tourism, Rayalaseema for horticulture and agro-processing, and Uttarandhra for minerals and manufacturing, with each zone backed by tailored incentives like land subsidies and skill centres to attract Rs 5 lakh crore in investments over five years.
