Amaravati, November 30, 2025: Union Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan directed officials to expedite solutions for Amaravati land pooling farmers' long-standing issues, including delayed annuity payments and returnable plot allotments, during a high-level meeting at the APCRDA office.

The directive aims to address grievances from the 29,000 families who contributed 34,000 acres in 2015, with a 90-day timeline for verification and disbursements to restore trust in the capital project.

Kalyan emphasised the farmers' sacrifices as the "foundation of Amaravati," instructing the formation of a joint committee to audit claims and fast-track Rs 50,000 annual annuities, stalled since 2019.

Ranjan Singh highlighted central support through PMAY and rural development funds, urging integration for equitable growth. APCRDA Vice Chairman Vinay Chandran assured immediate action on infrastructure in returnable layouts.
