Amaravati, November 29, 2025: The National Recruitment Agents Meet on Public-Private Partnership for International Employment Opportunities unfolded in Vijayawada on Friday, bringing together representatives from 17 registered agencies to chart avenues for Andhra Pradesh's youth in the global job market.
Guided by HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, the event featured insights from Kona Sasidhar, Secretary of Skill Development & Training, APSSDC Chairman Burugupalli Sesha Rao, APNRT President Dr. Ravi Kumar Vemuru, and APSSDC MD & CEO G. Ganesh Kumar.
Discussions centred on forging ties with international workforce providers, navigating global hiring trends, regulatory hurdles, migration risks, and state-backed support to place skilled workers abroad safely.
The forum facilitated tripartite memorandums of understanding for scaled-up overseas opportunities, spotlighting Andhra's skill ecosystem with German language courses in nursing colleges and the Naipunyam portal linking talent to verified employers.
APSSDC's training of 1.42 lakh youth last year in high-demand fields like welding, achieving 100% placement, underscored the state's readiness. Vemuru highlighted APNRT's network aiding 40 lakh Telugu diaspora across 140 countries through 2,000 members, while Kumar emphasised aligning vocational programs with industry needs for global mobility.
