Amaravati, November 29, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, approved the second phase of land pooling for Amaravati's development, targeting 16,666.57 acres in seven villages: Vaikuntapuram, Pedamadduru, Endrai, Karlapudi, Vaddamanu, Harischandrapuram, and Pedaparimi.

The move, following the first phase's 34,000 acres from 2015, aims to solidify the capital as the state's economic driver, with notifications set to issue soon for voluntary contributions backed by annuity payments and returnable plots.

Naidu, addressing farmers Thursday, appealed for their partnership: "Cooperate with the State government and come forward to give your lands under the second phase so as to develop Amaravati Capital City as the growth engine of Andhra Pradesh."
