Amaravati, November 27, 2025: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for a grand Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Amaravati today, that is November 27, a Rs 1,000 crore endeavour to weave spiritual heritage into the state's emerging capital landscape.
The project, spanning 10 acres, envisions a replica of Tirumala's iconic shrine with gopurams, kalyana mandapams, and eco-friendly features like solar lighting, aiming to draw lakhs of pilgrims annually and symbolise the NDA government's commitment to cultural revival after years of stasis.
Naidu, a devotee of Lord Venkateswara, described the temple as a "beacon of faith and progress," integrating it with Amaravati's master plan to foster a sacred-urban synergy.
