Newsroom, November 26, 2025: A modest Gujarati devotional drama has etched its name in Indian cinema history by grossing over Rs 100 crore worldwide on a shoestring budget of just Rs 50 lakh, delivering a staggering 200-fold return on investment that eclipses blockbusters like Dangal and Sairat.
Directed by Ankit Sakhiya and produced by Manasi Parekh, Parthvi Gohil, Ajay Balvant, Manifest Films, and Jay Vyas Productions, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate follows a struggling rickshaw driver, portrayed by Reeva Rachh, who finds solace in visions of Lord Krishna (played by Suhrud Goswami) amid a life-altering crisis in a remote farmhouse.
