Amaravati, November 25, 2025: Andhra Pradesh rolled out Rythanna Meekosam on Monday, a comprehensive farmer support initiative framed around a five-point formula to enhance livelihoods through financial assistance, modern technology, and better market access.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched the program at a Vijayawada event, targeting small and marginal cultivators with Rs 5,000 annual input subsidies, drone-based crop monitoring, and digital platforms for real-time pricing to minimise wastage and maximise profits.
The scheme integrates with existing efforts like Rythu Bharosa, adding soil health cards, insurance, and training for 50 lakh farmers. Naidu emphasized its role in "making agriculture a viable career," projecting a 25% income rise in three years.
