Amaravati, November 22, 2025: Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, inaugurated a free bus service exclusively for women in Kuppam constituency on Friday, aiming to ease travel burdens and promote safety for daily commuters.
The initiative, covering key routes within the area, was launched at a public event where Bhuvaneswari emphasised dignity in mobility, especially for rural women heading to markets, hospitals, or work.
The buses, operated under state transport with dedicated pink branding, will run multiple trips daily, with plans to expand based on demand. Bhuvaneswari highlighted the project's role in empowering families, recalling her husband's long association with Kuppam.
