Amaravati, November 21, 2025: Andhra Pradesh unveiled the Raitanna program to transform agriculture into a profitable venture, offering direct financial aid, modern tools, and better market access for farmers.
The initiative targets small and marginal cultivators with subsidies on seeds, fertilizers, and equipment, alongside training in precision farming and crop diversification to raise yields and cut costs.
Key features include zero-interest loans up to Rs 5 lakh, crop insurance integration, and digital platforms for real-time price updates and buyer connections. Officials aim to lift average incomes by 30% in three years, focusing on high-value crops like chillies and mangoes.
