Amaravati, November 21, 2025: President Droupadi Murmu visited Tiruchanur's Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple on Friday, offering special prayers to Goddess Padmavati, consort of Lord Venkateswara, as part of her two-day Andhra Pradesh itinerary.
Accompanied by Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, she performed rituals amid chanting of Vedic hymns, seeking divine blessings for the nation's well-being and prosperity.
The temple, a key spiritual site near Tirupati, draws millions annually for its serene ambience and architectural grandeur.
Murmu's visit, her first to the state after taking office, included interactions with priests and a review of temple conservation efforts. Naidu highlighted Andhra's rich heritage, noting the President's presence as a mark of respect for its cultural legacy.
