Newsroom, November 21, 2025: IFFI 2025 is witnessing a lot of action. The day kicked off with Creative Minds of Tomorrow, a unique 48-hour challenge inviting young minds to create content, alongside the ongoing Waves Film Bazaar, a marketplace offering a variety of opportunities.
IFFI also rolled out the red carpet for several films and their cast and crew members. In addition, IFFIesta will officially begin today in Goa.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan, highlighted the “Creative Minds” platform, launched during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which now hosts 130 participants creating films within 48 hours. He said the initiative provides young talent with a global-level platform, reflecting Prime Minisrer Narendra Modi’s trust in India’s youth and their creativity.
Further, MoS L. Murugan mentioned that PM Modi has emphasised the potential of the Orange Economy, noting that anyone with a mobile phone can become a creator and earn through travel or food vlogs. He added that the government is establishing the Indian Institute of Creative Technology to support creators.
