Newsroom, November 20, 2025: A six-member gang dressed as RBI officials pulled off a brazen daylight robbery on Bengaluru's NICE Road, stopping a cash van and fleeing with Rs 7 crore in under 30 minutes.

The attackers, wielding guns and posing as central bank staff, flagged the vehicle near Gottigere, forced the driver and guards into another car at gunpoint, and drove off with the money-loaded van, later abandoning it empty.

Police recovered the van but found no cash; the guards, bound and blindfolded, were dumped near Bannerghatta. The heist, executed with military precision, has sparked fears of insider involvement.
