Amaravati, November 19, 2025: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared at Nampally CBI court in Hyderabad on Tuesday for a 2021 election code violation case, drawing crowds of supporters and sparking fresh political barbs.
The hearing, linked to alleged misuse of government machinery during polls, saw Jagan arrive with party leaders, who framed the summons as "political revenge" by the ruling TDP-led NDA. YSRCP cadres rallied outside, chanting slogans against the Centre, while TDP dismissed it as routine justice.
The case, one of several pending against Jagan from his tenure, tests the opposition's unity amid internal murmurs.
