Amaravati, November 18, 2025: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will release Rs 3,135 crore in direct aid to over 53 lakh farmers across Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday under the merged YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, fulfilling a key poll promise.
Each eligible ryot will receive Rs 7,500 into their account, combining state support with central PM Kisan funds, targeting small and marginal cultivators who face input costs and weather woes.
The launch, timed for the rabi season, includes tenant farmers and landless laborers for the first time, with verification completed via village secretariats. Officials estimate the annual outlay at Rs 7,500 crore, aiming to ease debt burdens and boost productivity.
