Newsroom, November 18, 2025: The National Investigation Agency revealed the terror cell behind the November 10 Red Fort Metro Station car blast that killed 13 had advanced plans for Hamas-inspired drone assaults on high-profile targets, including religious sites and crowded urban spots.

Interrogations of arrested suspects, including doctors in a financial dispute that funded the group, exposed a stockpile of ammonium nitrate and RDX meant for vehicle-borne IEDs followed by drone drops, with training videos from Gaza and Syria recovered from encrypted devices.

Raids in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar yielded five more arrests for incitement, while the module's leader Umar Un Nabi's DNA confirmed his role as the suicide bomber. The plot, codenamed D-6, aimed to avenge perceived grievances tied to the 1992 Babri demolition.
