Newsroom, November 16, 2025: Dr Umar Un Nabi, the medicine professor identified as the suicide bomber in the November 10 Red Fort Metro Station explosion that killed 13, went underground at Al-Falah University in Faridabad immediately after Jammu & Kashmir Police arrested his associate Dr Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie on October 30.

Fearing the two-year terror plot was crumbling, Umar sought refuge in Nuh's Hidayat Colony for 10 days, renting a room with help from a university-linked electrician; the property owner is now in custody for questioning.

The National Investigation Agency's probe has traced a hawala route in the Mewat area for the group's funds, with two operators' transactions under scrutiny. Raids swept Nuh and Faridabad, including university dorms of Umar, Muzammil, and a third arrested suspect Dr Shahin Shaheed.

The Srinagar Nowgam station blast earlier prompted over 30 police and NSG vehicles to comb Al-Falah and environs, while Faridabad tightened entry logs to block unauthorised movement.
