Amaravati, November 15, 2025: Visakhapatnam is solidifying its status as Andhra Pradesh's primary growth corridor, according to IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who addressed the opening session of the 30th CII Partnership Summit on November 14.
Lokesh credited the city's strategic location and proactive policies for drawing investments, stating, "We are quickly giving permissions and lands for investments coming to Andhra Pradesh." He highlighted the synergy between state and central governments, treating business commitments as joint priorities to accelerate development toward a $2.4 trillion economy.
The summit, co-chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, underscores Andhra's role in national progress, with Lokesh emphasizing streamlined processes that deliver clearances in record time.
