Amaravati, November 15, 2025: Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal opened the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam with a call for navigating the "new geo-economic order" through technology-driven prosperity, righteous trust, and capable trade, aspiring for an India where "every state thrives and every citizen enjoys a high quality of life."
Addressing over 300 delegates from 80 countries, Goyal reaffirmed support for the WTO to strengthen fair multilateral systems, amid bilateral talks with leaders from Singapore, Nepal, Canada, and Saudi Arabia on investments and cooperation. The event, co-hosted by Andhra Pradesh, spotlights the state's coastal strengths in renewables and IT, aiming for ₹10 lakh crore in pacts.
The discussions, including sessions on global supply chains and innovation, underscore Andhra's role as an eastern gateway, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu pushing for swift approvals to attract FDI.
